YOU ARE ENOUGH

Rooted in Compassion

At Kizuna Counseling, I blend evidence-based practices with a heart-centered approach, always tailored to your individual needs. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. It’s a deeply personal journey, and the support you receive should reflect that.

Here are a few of the approaches I use to guide our work together:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Person-Centered Therapy

Sand-Tray Therapy

I create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted. I draw from various evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Sand-Tray Therapy.

I tailor each session to your unique needs. With a compassionate, nonjudgmental style, I focus on building trust and fostering meaningful growth. My experience includes working with children, teens, and adults facing anxiety, trauma, depression, autism, and other emotional challenges.

Be uniquely you

Kizuna means bond in Japanese, a word rooted in connection, resilience, and belonging. In therapy, I hold space for all the layers of your identity, honoring where you come from and how your experiences have shaped you. Whether you are navigating generational wounds, cultural expectations, or the feeling of being between worlds, you are welcome here. This is a place for grounded healing, through story, presence, and shared understanding.

hIBISCUS FLOWER

My logo is the beautiful hibiscus, a flower deeply associated with grace, resilience, and quiet strength. Its delicate and vibrant petals symbolize emotional healing, a reminder that even after hardship, something beautiful can still bloom. The hibiscus’s short-lived blossom encourages us to live fully in the present, to embrace the impermanence of life, and to find peace in the natural rhythm of change.

In many cultures, the hibiscus represents transformation. Just as we grow and evolve throughout the counseling journey, the flower slowly opens to reveal its full beauty. This reflects the therapeutic process of emotional unfolding, becoming vulnerable, gaining self-awareness, and stepping into wholeness. The hibiscus is more than a symbol. It reflects healing, growth, and the quiet power of becoming.
